Before began her swimming journey, she being terrified of water all of her life, she felt her desires to swim exceed her fears of the water sooner. She realized learning to swim is more than just learning strokes, breathing, and floating. She learned it is imperative to overcome fear and gain confidence while learning the feel and nature of water.
Swimming emerged as an innate talent after Yvonne experienced learning to swim as an adult. This transformation enabled her to swim with intention, purpose and empathy.
Yvonne is passionate not just for kids or swimming. She has a passion for changing – even saving – lives by teaching kids to swim. A passion born in the heart driven by her love for children, swimming and a desire to deliver an unmatched "BleuFish Focused Leaning" experience for children and their families.
Yvonne’s lessons are always full of fun and laughter, which acts as the best type of motivation, and it is equally important for her students to work hard and show determination to succeed. She gets great job satisfaction from seeing the children progress throughout the sessions. She enjoys watching the confidence and ability of the children grow from week to week.
